We collect information you provide directly to us, such as your email address when you create an account. We also collect information about how you use KAIRO, including the stocks you analyze, your watchlist, paper trades, and voice interactions (text transcripts only — no audio is stored).
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve KAIRO; to personalize your experience (such as saving your watchlist and analysis history); to send you relevant notifications and alerts you've opted into; and to analyze usage patterns to improve the product.
Your data is stored securely in Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on AWS infrastructure. We use row-level security (RLS) to ensure your data is only accessible to you. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
If you connect your Upstox account, we store only an OAuth access token (not your password). This token is used solely to fetch your portfolio data and enable trade execution. You can disconnect your broker at any time, which immediately invalidates the stored token.
If you enable push notifications, we store your device's FCM token to deliver price alerts and intraday signals you've requested. You can disable notifications at any time from your device settings.
KAIRO uses the following third-party services: Anthropic Claude and other configured AI providers (AI analysis — your stock queries and related context are sent to the provider for analysis); Yahoo Finance (market data); Finnhub and Feedly (news); Upstox (optional broker integration you explicitly connect); Firebase (push notifications); Razorpay (payment processing); Resend (transactional email); Supabase (database and authentication). Each of these services has its own privacy policy. Your Research Chat and thesis prompts are processed by external AI providers to generate responses.
We use browser local storage to save your preferences (such as language settings, chart drawings, and UI state). We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Signal analysis history is retained for up to 90 days. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@kairo.app.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security in our database, and secure OAuth for broker connections. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
KAIRO is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on the platform.
